GUARATUBA HOUSE

 

The biggest challenge was to meet the extensive program of needs and still generate voids for outdoor contemplation on a plot with a tiny 370m².

The proposed volumes allow solving the program and generating visual  and spaces for permanence in front of the sea. And through the investigation of volumetry to create poetic streaks of light added to the curved shading coverage.

The designed roof combines high-resistance concrete technology and the influence of tropicalist modernism with its sensual curves.
