UNIFESP OSASCO

National public architecture competition, where we had the concept of thinking of the university student as someone who is immersed in a theoretical world of possibilities. Throughout their course, they will follow paths to better understand the world's problems and their potential solutions. How can we design a student housing project that serves as a daily basis for this theoretical and important exercise in understanding and solving the world's problems? It is with this challenge in mind that we present the project Learn and Live – The City as an Educational Platform.
In this sense, the fact that the land is already used by the surrounding population as a leisure and recreation area is an advantage. We want to reinforce this feeling of belonging with a scale of appropriation by those who travel through the region. Ultimately, with the project Learn and Live – The City as an Educational Platform, we want to create a connection between students and residents of the surrounding area, that is, between the university and the city.
