IN ADDITION
The Pinheiros neighborhood is undergoing intense transformation, with old houses giving way to new buildings.
The diversity of typologies and the permanence of pedestrian-friendly buildings provide a breath of fresh air where the sky can be seen. When the façade is permeable, it brings life to the street and, consequently, well-being to the neighborhood.
Our retrofit project for an old house, commissioned by the travel experience brand @alem.com.br, allowed us to preserve the city's diversity.
The material chosen, polycarbonate, for the back façade is reminiscent of suitcases. On the other hand, the suitcase display shelves are made of cork, awakening the sense of touch and ensuring acoustic comfort.
