PIRITININGA HOUSE
A parallel line followed the angle of the land to create a glass veranda.
Skirted by the Atlantic forest on two sides, the beach house blends into the landscape with transparency and earthy tones. A house made for entertaining friends, socializing outdoors, and feeling immersed in the tropical landscape.
The house's land is narrower on the main façade and wider on the back façade. This layout of the lot created a more discreet entrance with closed volumes and angles, with a cantilevered veranda designed to provide shelter for visitors. In contrast, the most generous part of the lot is permeable and spacious. This open-angle part of the lot favored the installation of the swimming pool and the solarium adjacent to the barbecue area and dining room.
Although the staircase is recessed on one side of the house, it receives light from above and its contours create a beautiful three-dimensionality. The recessed pillars on the façade allow for a varied layout and suggest a corner to hang a hammock, reminiscent of the caiçara lifestyle.
On the upper floor there are four suites with large openings and movable sunshades that allow natural light to filter in, all the windows frame the forest. With a timeless and unpretentious proposal, the chosen coverings for the wet areas are tiles and terrazzo.
