CONGONHAS SQUARE

With approximately 5,000 passengers passing through daily, Congonhas Airport is one of the most used urban infrastructures in the city of São Paulo. When designing Congonhas Square, the project included fluid spaces and universal accessibility, with islands for lingering and contemplation. The layout of the floor was designed as a layer of pedestrian flows and paths. The volume created favors current engineering techniques with metal structures and CLT enclosures, which allow for the assembly and disassembly of parts with little interference on the site.
