REBOUÇAS APARTMENT

The minimalist lines and the palette of sober tones are the great assets of this project. Reducing design to its essentials is a challenge of assertiveness and clarity between form and function.

In this apartment many walls were removed and the environments were integrated, the apparent structure makes visible the suppressed spatial limits. The original floor was kept and the memory of the original construction remains alive through the choice of leaving the exposed concrete slab.

The transparency proposed in the subtle division between kitchen and dining room allows lighting and cross ventilation in all environments, something desirable in all projects.

The design of the custom-made furniture is delicate and seems to levitate in space like the dining table with a metal base and glass top. The attention to detail allowed the creation of a secret passage for the little Estopa, the house's mascot.
